If you could give one piece of advice to pet owners, what would it be?

If an owner has a concern about their pet, consult their veterinarian before looking up symptoms online. Google can be a dangerous place to find advice. Veterinarians will gladly offer advice 10 times over having a pet owner Google something just once.

3 things people might be surprised to know about you?

I love to cook—everything from preparation, the cooking process itself, the presentation, and of course…the eating…is fun for me.

Make sure they are kept up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and get them spayed/neutered at the recommended age. Feed them a high-quality diet and get their teeth professionally cleaned regularly.
